Boons

Boons are positive effects, as opposed to the negative conditions. They are the equivalent to the "buffs" found in other MMORPGs or "Enchantments" in Guild Wars 1. While the duration of buffs can be stacked, their effectiveness cannot - the only exception being "Might".

Aegis
Aegis is a boon which blocks the next attack.

Available to: Guardian Mesmer

Fury
Fury is a boon which grants +20% critical chance.

Might
Might is a boon which increases power and condition damage and stacks in intensity. The effect of might is determined by the following formula:

(0.375 * Level + 5) Power AND Condition Damage per stack

Therefore at level 80, Might grants a bonus of +35 to Power and Condition Damage.

Protection
Protection is a boon which reduces damage taken by 33%.

Regeneration
Regeneration is a boon which heals for a small amount of health per second and stacks in duration. The healing applied by regeneration is determined by the following formula:

((26/16) * Level) + (0.125 * Healing Power) per second

Therefore at level 80 Regeneration heals for 130 + 0.125 * Healing Power per second.

Retaliation
Retaliation is a boon which returns some of the incoming damage back to its source. Not to be confused with reflect. Damage returned scales with power.

Stability
Ignore control effects (stun, knockback, launch, knockdown, sink, float, fear, daze).

Swiftness
Swiftness is a boon that increases movement speed by 33%.

Vigor
Vigor is a boon that increases endurance regeneration by 100%. Endurance is used for active dodging.
